Shoe Lust

Been finding a lot of good shoes recently. And a lot on sale which is bad/good because I love a deal. Thought I'd share.

These are Preen x Aldo Rise and I'd seen them before and liked them, but they were over $100 then. Now they're $29 and possibly a couple clicks away from being mine... I'm still a little indecisive. I just have a big urge to wear them with all white or all black.

These are from Asos. And have a lucite heel. The End.

Spotted (pun, surprising, not intended) these on Pinterest.

Prabal Gurung for Target

And theeeeeese are Zara and I really really really wanted them a few months ago, then missed them when they went on sale because I am a slow indecisive fool even though I already knew I wanted them. Now I've seen some on eBay that cost more than they would've from Zara. Bummer.

Not that sure about these. I like the idea of white boots though.

Here's to spreading the damage to other people's wallets as well!

pink

Ooooh gimme those. (pic from nylon.com) I'll be keeping an eye out for them.

In other news, in honor of no longer working at a doctor's office, I tried dying the ends (aka the part of my hair that's still lightened) pink yesterday and it ended up being what I can best describe as "strawberry brown." I definitly didn't want super super hot pink bright, but I didn't want this subtle either. I think I like it though. Pink highlights.

Woo!!

New Marc by Marc Jacobs shoes I just won on eBay! For $9.50! (Plus $10 shipping but still!) I thought they were so cute and had to read the description several times to make sure I wasn't missing some weird problem they have that was causing other people to not bid. I think they make a nice birthday present to me, from me.

Shoes

I finally found shoes like these! (urban outfitters)

And I'm not afraid to say it's because of this....

.....

....

Alexa Chung! dun dun dunnnnnnnn.

In other news that follows in list form:

1. Today at work I was assigned an article about oyster buyboats and decided to title it "Hello, Good Buyboats." I'm pretty proud of myself.

2. MY LEAKY WINDOWSILL SUCKS!!! STILL!!!!
a. i realized that it might be the reason for my messed up breathing lately. (allergic to mold)
b. do NOT rent from Metro Properties, Richmonders. I mean it!

3. I have a new project in the works! (Don't I sound like one of those bloggers that has a secret collaboration and they're just waitin' to let the news out and it sound super important and cool 'cause they call it "new project"? Well, this isn't really like that since it's an entrepenuerial [note to self: learn to spell that word] thing. But! I am excited!)

4. So You Think You Can Dance is really amazing. The only person I know who would agree with me is my aunt Linda. I mean, people are chacha-ing to Kedollarsignha right now, everyone is like awesome at dancing and its all inspirtationalandshit, and Kat Deeley's outfits are always on point. Just sayin'.

Now I don't like being all up in other people's shiz when I don't know them, but that newly discovered son of Arnold Swarchenegerhhehhrrreeerr LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE HIM. Didn't somebody at some point go, "Oh weird, your kid looks just like Arnold Swarzeneggerrergg. Oh hey! Didn't you used to work for him?"

Not pictured: Newly discovered son of Arnold S. Look it up if you need to, I ain't posting it here. Too weird.
I wish raspberries weren't so expensive. I want to do this.

Zombie Jesus Day

Jesus Cristo! (Happy Easter Y'all!) Where does the arch of your foot go? Where?!?!!? Owwww!!! Are you kidding me!

So I couldn't sleep this morning and instead applied for a job as a fashion assistant at Essence. Anyone know how far in advance is too far in advance to apply for a job? I have no idea.

I have way too many random pictures saved on my computer. Here's some Easter-y ones. HOLY COW BABY RABBITS ARE THE CUTEST THING EVER.

Leopard Stud

I pulled this picture from some blog a while ago and saved it in my computer as the file name "holy cow." Basically, I NEED THESE SHOES. I will splurge on them and I don't really splurge on things so that's saying something. I will be better at life when I have them. Promise. I don't know who looks at this blog, but if anyone-- ANYONE-- knows where I can get these or has any leads or anything--ANYTHING-- tell me. Do you know which blog I took this picture from? That would help too.

THEY ARE SO AMAZING HOLY COW!!!!

I don't

I really don't need to buy sneakers. I prefer wearing skirts or dresses instead of pants so even though I love sneakers and have a particular weakness for dunks, I usually am wearing flats or boots.

But damn these are awesome (and on sale!):

____ for ____

Um... apparently I have to read Lucky magazines meant for my job's lobby to find out about these:

Which then led me to see these:

And also I recently saw these at Payless which are probably way too definitely uncomfortable for me to ever actually wear but:

The first two are Cynthia Vincent for Target and the last is Alice + Olivia for Target. I like the first ones the best (them's so colorful!) and need them now!!! (but they aren't available online so that ain't happenin'.) And I'm pretty sure there is velcro involved which is a big selling point for me for some reason.

Justification

I might get these finally. I've been considering them for for real like two years. Its really ridiculous. My boots I wear all the time have all the rubber, nonslip part rubbed off the heel which makes me slip up a lot (and once I feel in front of two nuns with school children...). I also just found out that there is a opening in the back where the leather is sewn together than I can stick my figure through. I still wear them for some reason. I need new boots basically but its spring now (and here that means it went from cold to 85 degrees all this week. We don't really get spring.), so that's why I should get more summery-like boots...yeah.

I mean... I think this is pretty awesome. Is it a crime?! (btdubs that's Kedollarsignha)

Saturday Night Rip-off Shopping

I'm having a pretty chill Saturday night flipping back and forth between Grease (also, IMDBing Grease. Stockard Channing was 34 when she played Rizzo and Olivia Newton-John was 30! They're supposed to be 18!!) and Wedding Crashers on tv and sippin' on a Ace Pear Cider I got while at Whole Foods today. I really wanted Kopparberg, but they didn't have it. I haven't had it since I was in Ireland this time last year and nothing else has lived up to the high standard it's set for pear ciders. I've also been searching around on the internet for the Chloe wedge boots I've wanted for a while now. Every so often I look for them on ebay but they're always about $400 too expensive... weird how that works. I did find these similar ones from China that I'm seriously considering. They are the most comparable ones I've been able to find and they're only $22!

Fake. Really, now seeing them together they're pretty different. But I think I like the colors on the fake ones better. I'd get the ones on the right.

I found this $55 Alexander Wang Coco copy that I'm considering too since I've really liked that bag since I first saw it. This picture is of the real one, but the fake looks the exact same just crappier material.

Also! I saw a commercial today for the new biodegradable bags Sun Chips is going to start using! I think its amazing. I even got sort of emotional at the commercial. Everyone should follow suit. Imagine if all the chips produced were sold in biodegradable bags. That's such a huge market so it would make for such a huge change.
