Crimson and Clover

Today I'm happy because

1) The weather is amazing! Seriously. We have all the windows in our apartment open right now. 'Cept for that one that's stuck and that other one that's sorta stuck. Clear skies, sunny, about 80 degrees. And the weather in New York is supposed to be really good (tomorrow: sunny with HIGH of 75 degrees!!!!)

2) I leave for New York tonight at 1am! Chinatown bus. Holla.

3) I have a reason to bake something today since I'm making brownies for my friend Ida who is letting us stay with her.

4) I'm wearing my new shirt:

5) Blondie radio on pandora, even though "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" (Why is the "I've Had" in parenthesis? Necessary?) came on while I was typing this and I'm not really a fan since it reminds me of creepy older men getting with girls too young for them that are appropriately nick-named Baby.

6) I got a weekend that feels weekendish for the first time in a long time. And its a three day weekend!

Dios mio!

Well... two things have happened:

One. I just realized the font on this blog was supersuper small on other computers, namely Macs and everyone has Macs except me right? So I decided to change it. And,

Two. A VOLCANO ERUPTED IN GUATEMALA!!!!! Whaaaa?!?!! Crazy. So I'm still here in good ol' Virginny and now I leave Tuesday and was actually here to load all my stuff into a POD yesterday. A POD which arrived on the PODZILLA. No joke. It's sorta scary because now I have two layovers. One in El Salvador and one in Costa Rica, which increases my chances of getting lost. Yikes.

I'm wayyyy to jittery right now. Really didn't need to sleep eleven hours and then drink coffee I guess.

I feel

like I don't wanna go to Guatemala in a month. I know it doesn't make sense and I don't know why. I'm not freaked out about going, I'm just sorta freaked out about feeling like I don't wanna. Time is going by really fast.

I have a new computer! And because of this new computer I just found out that I was approved to do study abroad in Guatemala this summer! I turned in my applications literally 4 hours ago. This is the fastest VCU has ever done anything! I jest I jest. Ahem... anyways, it super exciting!!!! I really don't like the feel of this keyboard. I hope I get used to it.

I have to go to STRUT practice now.. ick. I just wanna chill and write my 9 page paper THAT IS DUE ON THE SAME DAY AS STRUT and get it out of the way. Seriously, who makes papers due on Saturday nights. Lame.



I'm going here! Holy crap!

Also, I'm viewing an apartment tomorrow and if that goes well this week will have made a crazy turn around.

PS. I can write papers. In my room. In my bed! This is blowing my mind!
