I know the title sounds like something they say on one of those pretentious cooking shows. (Like, "prawns: two ways.) But the only reason I did this is because I've become a little obsessed with these pants and am thisclose to buying a pair. I was leaning towards the navy, but after making this, I changed my mind. The red outfit is more my style and totally convinced me.

Burberry Prorsum Fall 2013

I remember reading an article once (probably in Teen Vogue) where someone described their style as "preppy with a twist." I jumped at the idea that this described my style too. I've since realized that these quick descriptions of personal style are a little too cut and dry for me since I can be a little all over the place. Still everytime I read an interview where questions like "describe your style in three words" are asked, I wonder what my answer would be and that "preppy with a twist" quote comes to me. I did just become obsessed with a green Ralph Lauren cable knit sweater that I thrifted recently. So far I've worn it with leopard pants and faux-leather shorts. I'd say that fits the description.

 

And explains why I always love Burberry.

Shoe Lust

Been finding a lot of good shoes recently. And a lot on sale which is bad/good because I love a deal. Thought I'd share.

 

These are Preen x Aldo Rise and I'd seen them before and liked them, but they were over $100 then. Now they're $29 and possibly a couple clicks away from being mine... I'm still a little indecisive. I just have a big urge to wear them with all white or all black.

And theeeeeese are Zara and I really really really wanted them a few months ago, then missed them when they went on sale because I am a slow indecisive fool even though I already knew I wanted them. Now I've seen some on eBay that cost more than they would've from Zara. Bummer.

 

Not that sure about these. I like the idea of white boots though.
