This is very exciting news. It makes going to school feel like I'm just going to summer camp. Maybe it's just that both my classes were pretty interesting today. My International Relations teacher spent literally 20 minutes of class summarizing the plot of The Green Beret. I've never seen it but it sounds crazy. In other news, Avatar didn't win for best picture! Like a groundhog seeing it's shadow, this means that traditional filmmaking gets to live for six more years! Huzzah! When Oprah gave that speech introducing Gabourey Sidibe... wow... that was so intense: "Monday you went to an audition to earn extra money for college. Tuesday the director called you back. Wednesday you got the part. And today you are in nominated in the same category as Meryl Streep." I definitely got a little tear-y.
I'm about to go work, with help of a friend who is a far better seamstress, on my clothes for the STRUT show (I don't know why STRUT is always capitalized... I don't think it stands for anything.). I really don't feel like it. I wanna be outside not indoors sewing, but I have to get this stuff done. I think the reason I'm writing so much is just that I'm procrastinating and didn't even realize it until right now. Okay. Stopping. I only decided to make a new post because I like this:
